Warehouse 72
Warehouse 72 opened up late 2019, so right before the pandemic. From then, they’ve been struggling to keep business afloat. They’re a branch off of the famous Spaghetti Warehouse but only carry a few of the recipes. They’re located in the Marq-E center right behind the Dave & Busters. Chef came out and talked to me and explained that the design of the restaurant resembles a rebirth of their previous concept. Walking in you see the globes with the lights & bronze clouds on the side giving it an angelic touch. Throughout the restaurant, there’s light that represents the starry night. There’s these trees in front of the open kitchen…

Cheesy baked lobster
This quarantine 2020 has got me cooking up all sorts of stuff! Not that I wasn’t cooking before but now I can actually spend 3 hours cooking a dinner. It all started out because Lafitte Seafood in Houston was having a $10 lobster sale. Each lobsters were about 1.1 lb! The deal was too great to pass up so we got 10 lobsters and made different things with them. The night before we picked up the lobsters, I remember thinking to myself… “How are we going to work with live lobsters?” Sure, I’ve cooked crawfish before but live lobsters? Never. I was a little scared because I didn’t really want…

Mussels in White Wine
Mussels in a white wine sauce is definitely my absolute favorite way to cook and eat mussels. It’s so easy and tastes oh so delicious. Here’s the recipe I used to cooked these mussels and it only took about 15 mins including prep time. Ingredients: 2 cups white wine 4 large shallots, finely chopped 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped 1 teaspoon salt 2 pounds mussels 1/4 cup chopped parsley 6 tablespoons butter Directions: Rinse and scrub mussels under cold running water. Make sure to get rid of all the beard (strings) from them. In a large stockpot on medium heat, melt butter and simmer shallots until cooked (about 2-3 mins).…

Sequin long dress
I had such a fun time attending Shen Yun this year! I’ve been twice before and each time is just as beautiful! Watching the dancers on stage in their beautiful costumes, listening to the orchestra play live music, and learning about China’s history were all such a treat. I highly recommend this show to anyone and everyone! The show changes every year, so just because you’ve been to it once, doesn’t mean you’ve seen everything. So of course, since this show was at Jones Hall, I had to take the opportunity to dress up. This little number was perfect for the occasion and was under $30! This dress comes in…

Valentine’s day outfit
Valentine’s day is just around the corner! Whether you’ll be having dinner with your SO, or with your girlfriends, you should always do it in style! I ordered a bunch of things from Shein, which is seriously my fave website to order from because it’s so cheap and the material is good! I won’t say that I have never returned stuff from them because I definitely have, but for the most part, everything is great! (Plus, return shipping is free 😉) They also give points for people to review their items so I usually filter the reviews so that I only see the ones with pictures and the ones in…

Pleated skirt style
Pleated skirt is definitely in this season and I made sure I got one in my closet. It’s such a classy skirt to wear! I love the length of this one because it’s not too long and not too short. And of course, I had to pair it with my new fave faux fur jacket and my fave pair of clear heels. Unfortunately, I bought these shoes a while ago so they aren’t on sale anymore but I found a very similar one for a great price! As always, don’t forget to use my code CLETHATS15 for an addition discount on your whole order on Shein.

Just a daydream
I’m obsessed with corduroy skirts! The material is such a classic but also very underrated. This pink skirt is such a cute color! It’s not too pink in your face. I actually bought this skirt last year and wore it to Hong Kong. This year, it’s a little too big for me. I had to safety pin the back. See how I lost weight by the keto diet and my emergency diet! Live purple
This shirt is seriously soooo soft! This guy asked to feel it and I was all like yeah sure! And then it got weird real quick. (Nervous laugh) (thinks to self “never again”) I mean, I was just so excited that it was like seriously so soft. I even washed it and it’s still soft. My other fave thing about this shirt is the sleeve. Notice how it hugs at the wrist and then the rest of the sleeve folds over (swoon!). It’s no wonder the shirt is all sold out. (sorry guys!) 25 things I wish I could tell my younger self
At 25 years old, I’m still very young and have a lot to learn. But gosh, if I’m at a quarter of a century and haven’t learned anything, I must be doing something wrong. Thank goodness I have learned some things and this is what I wish I could tell my younger self. 1. Love your parents. Your parents only want what’s best for you. So even though what they might be telling you over and over again might get annoying, love them anyways because they are just showing you that they love you. 2. Break ups are not the end of the world. This is a big one that I…
